4 of CCOE’s Providers Named 2026 Castle Connolly Top Doctors
Orthopedic Centers of Colorado (OCC) and Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence (CCOE) is proud to announce that 4 of their providers have been recognized as 2026 Castle Connolly Top Doctors, a distinction that reflects the highest standards of clinical excellence, peer respect, and patient-centered care. Orthopedic Centers of Colorado had a total of 36 provided recognized.

Physicians are nominated by their peers—other licensed doctors who recognize excellence within their own fields. Each nomination then undergoes a rigorous, independent review process led by physician researchers at Castle Connolly. This process evaluates factors such as medical education and training, board certification, hospital and academic appointments, professional achievements, disciplinary history, and demonstrated excellence in clinical practice.
Only approximately 7% of physicians nationwide earn the Castle Connolly Top Doctor distinction each year. The selection process follows strict guidelines and a high threshold of professional achievement, ensuring that the designation reflects not popularity, but true medical leadership and expertise.
